Why I Race
I grew up as a competitive swimmer and continued on at the University of Michigan. After graduation I moved to Chicago for work and rekindled my passion to compete and challenge myself physically. I competed in my first triathlon in 2004 and trained harder and with more focus each passing year. I qualified for my professional license in June 2009 and moved to Napa in March 2010 to start my new career. I have continued to improve and excel over the course of the past five years. I love what I do each day and I am steadfastly dedicated to my training and racing. I relish the challenges of competing against the best in the world and I am incredibly motivated to continue improving and climb closer to the top. Through my passion, dedication and commitment, I enjoy inspiring others to achieve their own goals.
